Healthy churches understand something important: The gospel does not change.
But the way we communicate it must adapt to culture and technology.
If you want to understand the principle behind this page, read:
Methods Change, the Message Stays the Same.
What is Digital Evangelism?
Digital evangelism is the practice of sharing the message of Jesus Christ through today’s digital platforms — social media, websites, video, podcasts, and live streams. It’s how we meet people where they already spend their time: online.
At its heart, digital evangelism isn’t about technology — it’s about building real relationships. By posting encouragement, sharing testimonies, answering questions, and even joining conversations in everyday online spaces, we can bring hope, love, and the Gospel to people who might never step foot in a church.
Some call this online outreach digital discipleship or online ministry, but the goal is the same: to use digital tools to share Christ in ways that feel personal, accessible, and timely.

What are the benefits of digital evangelism?
Digital evangelism empowers church members to share their faith beyond the walls of the church. By posting encouragement, testimonies, and reflections on everyday life, believers can bring the hope of Christ into the spaces where people already spend time online.
The benefits go far beyond likes and comments. Digital evangelism:
Equips members to become digital witnesses in their own circles of influence.
Spreads awareness of the Christian faith without judgment or exclusion.
Engages seekers by answering questions and offering encouragement in real time.
Builds credibility for the church through honest, authentic voices.
Reaches further than any single location, allowing the Gospel to cross cultural and geographic boundaries.
Digital evangelism isn’t about replacing in-person ministry. It’s about multiplying it — extending the message of Jesus into everyday online conversations where people need hope most.
60%
of website traffic for many churches comes from mobile devices.
20%
of U.S. adults watch religion-focused online videos (YouTube, TikTok etc.).
84%
of U.S. adults who recently attended a religious service did so in person; 16% attended remotely (online).
88%
church website pages with video get ~88% more engagement
Digital Evangelism: Expanding Your Reach
The internet connects more people every day, making digital evangelism one of the most powerful tools to share the Gospel worldwide. It transcends barriers of age, language, ethnicity, and economics, reaching people wherever they are—at home, at work, or even on vacation.
Reaching Beyond Church Walls
Through digital messages, videos, posts, and ads, we’ve connected with people who had never heard of our church—or even of any church. Their responses opened doors to share the Gospel in ways we never thought possible.
If You Need Help Building the Page

Digital Evangelism: Sharing Faith in Today’s World
Digital evangelism bridges the gap between church members and seekers by making faith accessible, authentic, and engaging. Platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook create opportunities to share the Gospel in ways that spark meaningful conversations and invite real connection.
How Can Digital Evangelism Make an Impact?
Engage with Authentic Content: SShare short videos, stories, and posts that explore faith in approachable, everyday language.
Answer Questions Without Barriers: Offer safe spaces online where seekers can ask honest questions without fear or judgment.
Create Real Connections: Simple, genuine messages — like a pastor’s personal video invitation — resonate far more than polished productions.
Creating Genuine Connections Through Simple Invitations (See ours)
A heartfelt welcome goes a long way. One of the most effective tools is a short, unscripted video. For example, a pastor recording a message on the church steps can feel more personal and inviting than a professional production. Authentic warmth matters most.
Keep It Simple: Use your phone to record a short selfie video.
Be Genuine: Share from the heart — don’t script every word.
Focus on Connection: Let sincerity and personality shine. Real stories and smiles make a bigger impact than perfect visuals.

This is our Pastor’s welcome message.

Digital Evangelism Ethics
Is Digital Evangelism Ethical? Yes, here is why

Reclaiming the Internet
The internet, social media, and ads often push products we don’t need or can’t afford. But digital spaces can be more than just marketplaces—they’re platforms where meaningful messages can resonate. Let’s use them to share what truly matters.

Should the Gospel Only Be Shared Face-to-Face?
Building relationships in person is invaluable, but the Gospel has always embraced new ways to reach people—from messenger pigeons and telegraphs to telephones, radio, TV, and now the internet. Every platform is an opportunity to share the message.

Should a Church Post Ads?
A business sells, but a church serves. Church ads aren’t about promoting a product or the church itself—they’re about serving others. They share the Good News, offer help, and point to ways people can find hope and support. It’s not about debating or selling; it’s about serving and sharing with a heart of compassion.

Is Digital Communication Too Impersonal?
Even a letter, card, or phone call can feel impersonal sometimes. A store-bought card, no matter how expensive, can’t match the thoughtfulness of something handmade. The same goes for a church’s digital communication—it doesn’t need to be flashy to be meaningful. Authenticity matters. Use “I” and “we.” Share things as they truly are, imperfections and all. That’s what feels genuine.
What does the Bible Say…
Mark 16:15: Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
1 Cor 9:21-23: 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
So to the digital, we became digital; those lost on Social media, went to them; to those searching online, we made ourselves known.
Loving the Messiah, Loving the Message
We love the Messiah and the Gospel message. As for the method? We share the Good News however we can, using every opportunity and tool available to proclaim it.
